Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon’s music video Filhall is out and it might get you all teary eyed. With vocals by Punjabi singer B Praak, written by Jaani and directed by Arvinder Khaira, the song is a tale of two lovers, play by Akshay Kumar and Nupur Sanon who’ve sacrificed their love for their family’s happiness. Years later, Akshay, who is a doctor finds out his lover played by Nupur Sanon needs an operation after a fatal accident. He ignores his wife’s calls and attends to his patient. He relives all old memories in those few hours and finally when she gains consciousness, she finds him right next to her.
The video ends in showing that both the lovers now have a separate life for themselves, so while Akshay’s wife reaches the hospital to find out why he is not taking her calls, Nupur’s husband thanks the doctor (Akshay Kumar) for saving her life.
The music video marks a debut of sorts for Nupur, who is actor Kriti Sanon’s sister. And we can say that Nupur looks all set for the big screen. While she has already got her big break opposite Akshay Kumar with Filhall, this would also get filmmakers to take note of her and consider her for a bigger Bollywood role. All the best Nupur!
