Kangana Ranaut has been embroiled in controversy since her last film, Judgementall Hai Kya, was announced. Her comment about Hrithik Roshan being the “silly-ex” resulted in a lot of chatter. Hrithik also filed a defamation notice against her. However, it seems that the war is not over yet.
In a recent media summit, the actor was asked what she would do if she wakes up as Hrithik Roshan. She replied that the first thing she would do is call Kangana and apologise to her. “So whatever has happened between us, whatever karma that we have exchanged, I will call Kangana and I will tell her that I am sorry for what I did,” Kangana replied.
It’s not just about Hrithik. She was also asked what she would do if she woke up as Salman Khan. Kangana had a witty response. “Main mediwalon ke kaan kheechungi (Will punish the media), because they are okay if Salman does it...and if I say it then it’s not okay,” Kangana laughed.
Earlier, Kangana and Rajkummar Rao’s film Judgementall Hai Kya (initially titled Mental Hai Kya) had drawn criticism from mental health experts and associations for its title and posters. While the film’s Ekta Kapoor had defended it, Kangana dragged her “silly ex” Hrithik and the “nepotism” debate into the controversy.
Kangana Ranaut’s sister, Rangoli Chandel shared with her followers on Twitter the story of how Kangana’s “silly ex along with nepotism gang attacked her just to publicly embarrass and discredit her, they called her mental and bipolar.... endless jokes and memes were made with the intention of insulting and harassing her, rather than feeling humiliated or defensive Kangana pledged to fight the stigma attached to the illness, MHK is a story f fight against this very prejudice Kangana faced 2 years ago.”
Hrithik in turn, called them bullies and filed a defamation case.
