Boney Kapoor is impressed by popular Tamil actor Ajith Kumar’s performance in his upcoming production Nerkonda Paarvai, the Tamil remake of Pink. The producer has invited the actor to Bollywood. Boney Kapoor forayed into the southern film industry with Nerkonda Paarvai, wherein Ajith essays the role of a lawyer.
“Saw the rushes of Nerkonda Paarvai. Happy. What a performance by Ajith. I hope he agrees to do Hindi films soon. Have three action scripts; hope he says yes to at least one of them,” he tweeted on Wednesday.
Ajith Kumar, who is very well known in the south, has also played an important role in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Asoka. Though the buzz is that Boney Kapoor has roped in Ajith for a Hindi film, an official announcement is yet to be made.
Directed by H. Vinoth, Nerkonda Paarvaia also stars Vidya Balan, Mahat Raghavendra, Shraddha Srinath, Andrea Tariang and Abhirami Venkatachalam.
Boney Kapoor confirmed that he has another project in mind for Ajith Kumar. “We are doing another film together and that will be scheduled to go on the floors in July 2019 and will be released on April 10, 2020,” he added.
