Shah Rukh and his director, Aanand L Rai seem to have had a blast while shooting for their film, Zero. The makers had earlier released a video of Rai, highlighting his near-obsession with food. In the behind-the-scenes video, one can see how much Aanand adores his ‘samosas’, so much so, that SRK gifts him a poster with ‘Mere Samose Wapis Karo’ written on it. The video also features SRK’s daughter, Suhana Khan, munching on the Indian snack. Take a look:

Fans are curious and how about the small town every man, that Shah Rukh Khan is set to play in Aanand L. Rai’s Zero. The trailer of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Zero released on 2 November coinciding with King Khan’s birthday. The film also starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif is set for a Christmas 2018 release. The story follows Bauaa Singh, a vertically challenged man who falls in love with a superstar.

SRK earlier took to Instagram to introduce his character. One of the most striking lines from the video mouthed by the Bollywood Badshaah goes something like this, “Humse dekhte hi pyaar nahi hota, dekhte dekhte ho jata hai.”

While most of the visuals are the same ones used in the trailer, it’s the voiceover in SRK’s voice that stands out.

The trailer opens with SRK’s Bauua, a small man with big dreams, who chances upon a picture of a girl (played by Anushka Sharma) after signing up for a matrimonial site and is determined to marry her. When he first meets her at an event at a school—she is apparently a scientist—he discovers she is wheelchair-bound and has cerebral palsy. This doesn’t seem to deter Bauua and he goes all out to win her over anyway.

About halfway through Bauua’s ambition seems to get the better of him. He appears to have second thoughts about ‘settling down’. This leads him to pursue a famous movie star (played by Katrina Kaif). A love triangle ensues, as does plenty of drama.

Zero is slated to hit theatres on 21 November.
