Since last year, actor Rishi Kapoor is staying in the US, undergoing treatment for an undisclosed illness. However, his family and friends from the industry keep paying visits, ensuring that Rishi and his wife Neetu are not alone.
Recently, Karisma Kapoor and her father Randhir paid him a visit to New York. Neetu took to Instagram to share a selfie featuring her, Rishi, Karisma and Randhir. “The bestest brothers ever. Their conversation is only food though,” she captioned it.
In September 2018 Rishi Kapoor made an announcement to his fans and followers that he was taking a break from work and going for the US for treatment. This led to a lot of worry and speculation in the media, with many throwing around ‘cancer’.
Brother Randhir Kapoor denied the rumours without much detail, and told Hindustan Times that Rishi was doing fine. Wife Neetu Singh and son Ranbir Kapoor have been by Rishi’s side for most of his time in New York, and many other Bollywood friends like Anupam Kher, Javed Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra have visited the actor as well.
Even Rishi broke the silence and said that while his treatment has been “long and tedious” he is recovering and plans to come back to India soon.
