1.‘Thugs of Hindostan’ First Look: Amitabh Bachchan as Khudabaksh

The first look of Amitabh Bachchan as Khudabaksh in Thugs of Hindostan has just been released. He’s the “commander of thugs” in the film that also stars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Dressed in battle gear with a long beard and a sword in a ship alongside a cannon, Big B’s look is strongly reminiscent of Pirates of Caribbean.

From being an adult star to playing the lead role in Bollywood films, actor Sunny Leone aka Karanjit Kaur, who fought several hardships throughout her career, believes women should stand up for their rights. "Women should speak up for themselves. They should say whatever they feel and do whatever they want to do. Every girl should pursue their passion and follow their dreams. And these small choices will strengthen our women and will make them more confident,” the Jism 2 actor told the media, who was present at Madame Tussauds to unveil her wax statue.

4. It Can’t Stop Me: Priyanka Chopra on Being Asthmatic

Indian actor Priyanka Chopra says she's asthmatic and there is nothing to hide about it. Priyanka on Monday tweeted an ad campaign where she is seen talking about how asthma did not stop her from achieving the highs in her career.

"Those who know me well know that I'm an asthmatic. I mean, what's to hide? I knew that I had to control my asthma before it controlled me. As long as I've got my inhaler, asthma can't stop me from achieving my goals and living a 'Berok Zindagi'," she tweeted.

5. Rasika Dugal Hosts Manto’s Real-life Daughters in India

Rasika Dugal is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, Manto. Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the titular role and written and directed by Nandita Das, the film delves into the life of one of the most well known and talked about short story writers from the subcontinent, Saadat Hasan Manto. Rasika plays the role of Safia Manto, Manto’s wife.

Recently, Rasika turned host for Nuzhat Arshad and Nusrat Jalal, two of Manto’s daughters who flew down to Mumbai from Lahore on the Qissa actress’ request and after lot of effort on Nandita’s part. They were accompanied by Nusrat’s husband Shahid and Saeed, an old friend of Manto’s.
