Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike is going great guns at the box office. While the actor has been earning praise all around, a special tweet has rather ruffled netizens. Anupam Kher, who has been recently praised widely by BJP and slammed by critics and the Congress for his latest, The Accidental Prime Minister (TAPM), tweeted to Vicky: “Dear @vickykaushal09 ! Welcome to the ‘actors’ world. You are FANTASTIC in #UriTheSurgicalStrike. Real, gutsy and a performer. Remember!! You are your own competition. The more difficult you make your jo, the more you will explore it. Love and best wishes always.”
Incidentally, Uri portrays a decisive and confident Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordering the surgical strikes, while TAPM shows a feeble Dr Manmohan Singh negotiating the corridors of Gandhi politics to pull off the nuclear deal.
