PC Called Out for Bursting Crackers After Anti-Pollution Campaign
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot in a Christian wedding ceremony on 1 December, and it was followed by an impressive firecracker display at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. But many on Twitter have called out Priyanka’s hypocrisy since she has previously been the face of anti-pollution campaigns during Diwali.
Twitter was not happy about the pollution her wedding caused in Jodhpur.
Priyanka Chopra is also a part of the campaign, Breathe Free where the actor has opened up about her own asthma and busts myth surrounding it.
Interestingly, AR Rahman tweeted on the same day as Priyanka’s wedding about controlling pollution.
After the mehendi, sangeet and haldi ceremonies, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas took vows in a Christian service, which was officiated by Jonas' father, Paul Kevin who is a pastor. The couple will now tie the knot in a Hindu traditional shaadi on 2 December. More than 200 people have been invited for the wedding celebrations at Umaid Bhawan in Jodhpur.
