Watch Alia Bhatt Savour “Bush” Breakfast During Her Kenyan Safari
She recently made a vlog about her experiences, the local food, language and a jungle safari.
Alia Bhatt is currently having a blast in Kenya. She recently made a vlog about her experiences, the local food, language and a jungle safari. She starts with a video of the surroundings outside her tent. Alia starts by saying that she didn’t want to vlog as this “is a beautiful time to be with nature and not with a technology.” She then shows us a view from her tent, where there are vast stretches of green.
It’s a completely chilled-out vacation for the actor. A sunny day starts with “bush” breakfast, what the chef describes as “breakfast outside the bush.” Apart from a lavish spread of eggs, bacon, muesli, tart, there’s also the Kenyan mahamri, which is basically a pastry.
Alia introduces us to the people from her camp. Cosmos, a local guy, has been teaching the actor the language. “What I have learnt so far is Karibu which means welcome, tamu sana which means delicious,” Alia adds.
She also gives us a glimpse of all the animals that she has seen, including hyenas and leopards. “We watched a gazelle give birth and that was amazing”, Alia says. The other thing that people are advised when they spot a leopard during the safari is to stand still, she adds.
Earlier, photographs of Alia and Ranbir during the safari had surfaced online.
Both the actors have been dating for quite some time and speculations were rife about their wedding. From what we know from our sources, their actual wedding day is not too far away though. Sources have told The Quint, that the couple will be tying the knot soon, but both the Kapoor and the Bhatt families are tight lipped about the date.
However, it seems that fans do not have any patience left. In Alia’s latest advertisement, she has donned a beautiful wedding lehenga and fans have photoshopped Ranbir’s face in place of the male model. The edited version of the picture has gone viral.
