We caught up with Amitabh Bachchan to talk about his upcoming projects and working for the first time with Aamir Khan.
Excerpts from the interview:
What brings you and Aamir Khan together finally in Thugs Of Hindostan?
AB: A film and a story that he liked and agreed upon and I liked and agreed upon. I mean, YRF could have had anyone else. But they thought of us and we agreed.
You’ve also said yes to Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar 3 and Anees Bazmi’s Aankhen 2. Do the two films carry forward your roles?
AB: Yes.
At an age when many people lead a retired life, you continue to conquer new peaks. What’s your secret formula for success?
AB: With due respect, may I just say that I am tired of answering this question! I am not here to conquer peaks or design a ‘formula for success’. I am here to do a job. I need to work, I like to work and I am fortunate that there are some that consider me for work. In time nature shall diminish me and my body. But until it does so, I wish to continue.
What would your advice to future generations of actors be?
AB: They are beyond any advice. They are a superior generation and I seek advice from them.
