Between November last year to this day in 2018, the controversies that held the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film ‘Padmavaat’ in its clutches, laid bare the regressive mindset of people holding some of the most powerful governing positions. Fringe groups enjoyed more than their 15 seconds of fame and the foot soldiers of Shri Rajput Karni Sena (SRKS) acquired the repute of honour clowns.

The Deepika Padukone-Shahid-Kapoor-Ranveer-Singh starrer is now set to release on January 25.
