Taran also predicts that War will continue to do big numbers up till at least Diwali a.k.a. 26 October when Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 will release. Before then, the actioner will easily cross the Rs 300 crore mark.

Earlier, War had become the third highest grossing Hindi film of 2019, having surpassed the lifetime business of both Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal and Salman Khan’s Bharat. It earned over Rs 50 crores on its opening day alone and hit Rs 100 crores by day 3.

Apart from Hrithik and Tiger, War also stars Vaani Kapoor, Anupriya Goenka and Ashutosh Rana. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films. War released in theatres on 2 October.
