Remember when Charlotte from Sex And The City said, "Maybe our girlfriends are our soulmates!" Well, that’s exactly how one feels when one listens to the brand new song, Veere from Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania starrer, Veere di Wedding.
After the release of the first song Tarefaan and the subsequent Bhangra Ta Sajda created great buzz, the makers have released the title track of the film called Veere. The song can be simply classified as the friendship anthem of 2018, as it portrays the tight bond the four friends (the star cast in this case) have with each other, despite all the highs and lows that they face in their respective lives.
The visuals beautifully captures the four veeres (which means brother in Punjabi), including Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania while they are on Kalindi’s (Kareena Kapoor) spinster trip in the song.
The song is peppy and breezy with a feel-good factor to it. Music composer, Vishal Mishra brilliantly touches upon the pulse of the youth with upbeat music, complemented by the voices of Vishal Mishra, Aditi Singh Sharma, Iulia Vantur, Dhvani Bhanushali, Nikita Ahuja, Payal Dev and Sharvi Yadav. Overall, the song Veere has been rightfully termed as “friendship anthem of the year” by the makers of the film.
