Varun Dhawan Badly Injures His Knee on Sets of Remo D’Souza Film
Varun Dhawan, who has badly injured his knee, has been advised to rest.
Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor have returned after shooting the first schedule of their yet untitled dance film, which is being directed by choreographer-turned-director Remo D’Souza. The film will mark a second outing for the pair, who have been cast together in ABCD 2 as well.
Varun reportedly landed in Mumbai on Friday night, and has hurt himself while shooting for a strenuous dance sequence in Punjab. The actor, who has badly injured his knee, has been advised to rest.
A source told Mumbai Mirror that Varun had to perform a particular step called the knee drop fifteen times, which led to his busted knee.
Varun and the team have been sharing snippets from the sets of the upcoming film.
Producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series called the film “India’s biggest dance film”.

The first leg of the film was shot in Punjab after which it will move to London. It will also star Nora Fatehi and Sonam Bajwa and is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Lizelle D’Souza. Katrina Kaif had reportedly been considered as part of the cast but declined due to her commitment to Salman Khan’s Bharat.
