1. ‘Bob Biswas’: Abhishek in ‘Kahaani’ Spin-off, SRK to Produce Film

While there has been no word on his next film as an actor, Shah Rukh Khan has announced that he will produce Abhishek Bachchan’s next. Titled Bob Biswas, the film is a spin-off about eponymous contract killer from Vidya Balan-starrer Kahaani. It will be helmed by Divya Annapurna Ghosh, daughter of Kahaani director Sujoy Ghosh, and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Bound Script Production.

Shah Rukh took to Twitter to reveal the news. “#BobBiswas is coming to 'kill it!' Happy to associate with Bound Script Production to bring #BobBiswas, played by @juniorbachchan and directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh,” he tweeted.

2. AMAs 2019: Taylor Swift Beats MJ’s Record for Most Wins

Taylor Swift swept the American Music Awards 2019, which were held in Los Angeles on 25 November, taking home six honours, including Artist of the Decade, Artist of the Year and Favourite Album for 2019’s Lover. This brings the total number of AMAs the pop star has won to 29, beating the King of Pop Michael Jackson who has 24. The singer has been embroiled in a bitter battle with talent manager Scooter Braun and her former record label Big Machine over the rights to the back catalogue of six albums, which also nearly put a stop to her performance at the AMAs.

3. Kangana Ranaut to Produce First Film Based on Ram Mandir Issue

Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel recently took to Twitter to inform that the actor, who has named her production house Manikarnika, after the Queen of Jhansi, will be making films on topics that people fear to discuss. She also hinted at an announcement to be made soon. Now, according to a report by Mumbai Mirror, Kangana has finalised the subject of her first production. Titled Aparajitha Ayodhya, the film is based on the Ram Mandir issue and the the court case that has been grabbing headlines for quite some time.

4. KJo, Radhika Apte, Kubbra Sait Prep for 2019 Int’l Emmy Gala

Filmmaker Karan Johar, Gully Boy director Zoya Akhtar, Radhika Apte and Kubbra Sait are in New York for the 47th International Emmy Awards. The winners will be announced at the International Emmy Awards Gala on 25 November. Netflix’s Sacred Games and Lust Stories are among the nominees for this edition.

The celebs have been sharing snapshots on Instagram as they prepare for the big night. Kubbra Sait, whose Netflix web series Sacred Games is nominated for Best Drama Series, posted a photo posing with the crew. Co-director and producer Vikramaditya Motwane can be seen wearing his nomination medal.

Salman Khan took to Instagram to wish his father Salim Khan, who turned 84 on 24 November, a happy birthday. The actor posted a photo of the two fishing by a river and wrote, “Happy bday daddy...” The Khan family had earlier got together to celebrate actor Helen’s 81st birthday on 21 November. Salman threw a lavish party for her, with his brother Sohail Khan, sister Arpita, Aayush Sharma and yesteryear actors Waheeda Rahman and Asha Parekh in attendance.
