Shah Rukh Back With Two New Films, Here’s All You Need to Know
Will the real SRK fans please stand up?
For all the Shah Rukh Khan fans out there, there’s something new to look forward to finally! Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly signed two new films and is excited to work on them both. The news was broken by entertainment website Peeping Moon.
The film will not be directed by Aditya Chopra, but will be helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
According to sources that are close to the development, one of Shah Rukh Khan’s next two films will be a big-budget entertainer. It will be in collaboration with Yash Raj Films for their special 50-year anniversary in 2020. That’s also when they will officially announce the film.
But, plot twist. The film will not be directed by Aditya Chopra, but will be helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Ali Abbas Zafar directed the Salman Khan-starrer Bharat which was Salman’s Eid release for 2019. The recce for the film will begin in early 2020. Aditya Chopra has previously directed SRK films like Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
Acknowledging the rumours, Ali Abbas Zafar teased fans further with a tweet saying, "I am in [the] final stages of finalising my script, exciting times ahead."
Unfortunately there isn’t much information about Shah Rukh Khan’s other film. However, both the films will be shot back-to-back in 2020.
Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in the film Zero. Zero also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
