While several Bollywood celebs have been spotted around town attending various Diwali parties, celebrations were a family affair for Sara Ali Khan. The actor brought in the festival of lights with her father Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and siblings Ibrahim and Taimur. She took to Instagram to wish her fans and posted a few photos with the family. Saif was dressed in a black kurta-pyjama, while Ibrahim and Taimur kept it casual. Sara wore a sky blue sharara and Kareena donned a shiny salwar kameez for the occasion.

2. Bhansali’s Next ‘Baiju Bawra’ to Clash With Deepika’s Mahabharata
Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced his next period drama on Diwali. Titled Baiju Bawra, the film is expected to release on Diwali 2021 and will likely clash with Deepika Padukone’s adaptation of the Mahabharata, the first part of which is also scheduled for the same date.

3. Priyanka and Nick Celebrate First Diwali Together in Mexico
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas celebrated Diwali with friends and family while on vacation in Cabo, Mexico. This is their first Diwali together as a married couple. Priyanka took to Instagram to wish fans, writing “Happy Diwali to everybody celebrating. From mine to yours...” She also shared a few photos. In the first, Priyanka and Nick posed together with PC in a gold, floral-printed sari and matching blouse and Nick in a white shirt and jeans.

Doting dad Karan Johar had the cutest Diwali greetings to share with fans. The filmmaker took to Instagram and posted a photo of himself with his kids Roohi and Yash. The three twinned in matching Manish Malhotra outfits. “Happy Diwali from me and mine to you and yours!!!!! Love the family in @manishmalhotra05 today for our @dharmamovies Diwali pooja,” he wrote. Several Bollywood stars associated with Karan Johar’s production house Dharma Productions gathered for the annual Diwali puja at the office.

5. Producer Vipul Shah Denies Being Victim of Iridium Scam
After PTI reported that film producer-director Vipul Shah lost Rs 5 crore in an alleged ‘iridium scam,’ the Namaste England helmer has completely denied the story.
Speaking exclusively to The Quint, Vipul had this to say: “That story is totally untrue. I don’t know where and how this started but the person in the case is not me. I have got nothing to do with the story.”
