Kiara Advani Starts Shooting for 'Indoo Ki Jawani' in Lucknow

Kiara Advani is busy shooting for her next film, Indoo Ki Jawani, in Lucknow. The protagonist of Abir Sengupta-directed comedy, Indoo is a fiesty girl from Ghaziabad who tends to become judgemental of people. According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, Kiara was recently shooting in a mall in Lucknow. The sequence required her to beat up goons. “Ever since i came on board I have been preparing for the character. Indoo embodies every young, Indian girl and I am sure the film will be hugely entertaining,” the actor said.

Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the first look of the film.

'Ujda Chaman' Release Date Preponed to 1 November

Abhishek Pathak directorial Ujda Chaman will now release on 1 November. The film was originally set to release on 8 November where it would clash with Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala. Pathak has filed a petition to stall the release of Bala in the Supreme Court citing copyright infringement due to the similarities in the storylines of both films.

'Narcos' Star Wagner Moura to Make Appearance at IFFI

Brazilian actor Wagner Moura, best known for his role of Pablo Escobar in Netflix series Narcos, is set to visit India in November, as a guest at International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. Moura's directorial debut Marighella is in debut competition at IFFI this year, and he will be there at the festival to present his film. While at IFFI, Moura will also attend an In Conversation session titled The Magnificent Artist, where he will talk about his journey as an actor and a filmmaker.

The 50th edition of IFFI will take place from 20 November to 28 November.

'Saand Ki Aankh' Declared Tax-Free in Uttar Pradesh

The Yogi Adityanath government has declared Saand Ki Aankh tax-free in Uttar Pradesh. The film stars Tapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar, and is based on the lives of octogenarians Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar, who became champion sharpshooters in their 60s. The film had earlier been declared tax-free in Rajasthan.
