AR Rahman to perform live at Busan International Film Festival
Music maestro AR Rahman will perform live at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). His film, 99 Songs, which he co-wrote and produced, will also be screened at the festival on 9 October. Directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy, the film features debutant Ehan Bhat.
Excited about the screening, Rahman said in a statement, “I am delighted to be a part of this amazing gathering of film enthusiasts and have the screening of our labour of love at BIFF. The film's music is very special and so integral to its story that I feel compelled to introduce it to audiences at this very special event before the screening. I'm looking forward to bringing them this celebration of cinema and music and can't wait for the reactions.”
Sahil Vaid Joins 'Coolie No 1'
Varun Dhawan will reunite with his Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania co-star Sahil Vaid in David Dhawan’s remake of Coolie No 1. The film is a reboot of David's 1995 hit film of the same name, which starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in the lead. It also stars Sara Ali Khan and Shikha Talsania.
Vidyut Jammwal's 'Commando 3' to Release in November
Vidyut Jammwal-starrer Commando 3 will release on 29 November. Directed by Aditya Datt and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, this is the third instalment of the action thriller series. The film also stars Adah Sharma, Angira Dhar and Gulshan Devaiah.
New 'Laal Kaptaan' Poster
A new poster of Laal Kaptaan released on 1 October. The poster features Saif Ali Khan holding a gun with the other cast members standing behind him. The film will release on 18 October.

John Abraham-Starrer 'Satyamev Jayate' Gets a Sequel
The makers of action thriller Satyamev Jayate have finally announced a sequel. Satyamev Jayate 2 will star John Abraham yet again. However, this time he will be paired against Divya Khosla Kumar. It will be directed by Milap Zaveri who has called John’s character a “crusader for justice”. The film is scheduled to release on 2 October 2020.
