Speculation is rife that Rishi Kapoor is suffering from cancer, in the advanced stage and is undergoing treatment in USA. Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor’s brother told ETimes that he is yet to undergo tests in America and rubbished the rumours. “Let him go through tests peacefully. Eros Now to Premiere its Original Series Smoke at MIPCOM 2018
Eros Now’s second original series is set to premier on 26 October after premiering at the annual entertainment trade show MIPCOM in Cannes. Starring Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin and Mandira Bedi the show offers "an unflinching look at the politics within the drug mafia that resides in the intoxicant riddled underbelly of its tropical paradise, Goa".
Actors Should Push Themselves by Crossing Boundaries: Nivin Pauly
Nivin Pauly is awaiting the release of "Kayamkulam Kochunni", touted as the most expensive movie made in the Malayalam film industry. He is also looking forward to soon making his debut in a Hindi language film. The Malayalam star believes that all the actors should challenge themselves by crossing boundaries and acting in languages that they are not fluent in.
The Kochi-based actor made his acting debut in 2010 with "Malarvaadi Arts Club" and went on to star in Malayalam movies like "Thattathin Marayathu", "Bangalore Days" and "Premam".
Though his primary focus has been Malayalam cinema, he also tried his hand at Tamil films by starring in "Richie" and "Neram", which was made in Tamil and Malayalam. He is currently dubbing for Geetu Mohandas' bilingual film "Moothon", which will be released in Hindi and Malayalam, reports IANS.
Mumbai Music Festival to See Performances by Major Indian Bands
Two noted Indian music bands -- Euphoria and Rakesh and Friends -- will perform at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) here on Friday and Saturday.
The performances will be a part of the music festival "One World Many Musics: Celebrating Artistic Plurality", which is currently in its ninth edition.
It will feature Rakesh and Friends, led by renowned flautist Rakesh Chaurasia, which will present a blend of Indian and international instruments to create a new and exciting soundscape, the NCPA said in a statement.
