'Saand Ki Aankh' Declared Tax-Free in Delhi

The Delhi Government has given tax-free status to the Diwali release, Saand Ki Aankh, starring Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted: “Delhi govt gives tax-free status to 'Saand Ki Aankh' in Delhi. The message of the movie should reach to people of every age, gender and background? The power of a dream, and the power derived from it to achieve it, despite any socio-cultural blocks.”

Bhansali Announces 'Baiju Bawra' as His Diwali 2021 Release

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next directorial venture will be Baiju Bawra and it is scheduled to be released in Diwali 2021. Touted as the filmmaker's most ambitious film, the project comes after Bhansali shelved In-shaa-allah with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt.

Earlier this month, Bhansali Productions had announced that they are co-producing Gangubai Kathiawadi with Alia Bhatt in the lead. The film is set to hit theatres on 11 September, 2020.
