First Look of Vicky Kaushal in Meghna Gulzar's Next

For her next directorial, Meghna Gulzar is all set to bring alive the life of Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw. And the film will be starring none other than the Uri actor Vicky Kaushal. The film will be written by Bhavani Iyer (Raazi) and Shantanu Srivastava (Badhaai Ho), and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. It will go on floors in 2021. The announcement has been made onthe death anniversary of Sam Mankeshaw.

'Khandaani Shafakhana' Release Date Postponed

The release date of Sonakshi Sinha starrer Khandaani Shafakhana has been deferred to 2 August from 26 July. The makers announced the new date along with a fresh poster for the film.

Directed by Shilpi Dasgupta, Khandaani Shafakhana also stars Fukrey actor Varun Sharma and marks Badshah’s Bollywood debut.

First Poster of Rishi Kapoor's 'Jhootha Kahin Ka' Out

The first poster for Rishi Kapoor’s upcoming film Jhootha Kahin Ka has been released. The film is reportedly a family entertainer, which also stars Omkar Kapoor, Sunny Singh, Jimmy Shergill, Lillette Dubey and Manoj Joshi. This will be Rishi’s first film to release in theatres after he took a hiatus last September to undergo treatment of cancer. Jhootha Kahin Ka has been directed by Smeep Kanga and hits theatres on 19 July.

First Look Poster of Sports Drama 'Doosra'

Taran Adarsh just shared the poster of an upcoming sports film Doosra. The film will be directed by Abhinay Deo. It stars Plabita Borthakur and Ankur Vikal. Doosra is based on real-life story of Sourav Ganguly’s iconic victory in 2002. Screenplay of Doosra has been written by Agnello Dias.

Actor-Director Vijaya Nirmala Passes Away

Indian actor/director Vijaya Nirmala passed away at the age of 73 due to a cardiac arrest on late Wednesday night 26 June in Hyderabad. She had acted in over 200 films in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages. She directed over 40. In 2002 she was entered in the Guiness Book of World Records as the female director with most number of films to her credit. She was known for her starring roles in films like Alluri Seetharama Raju, Meena and Poola Rangadu.
