Ed Sheeran Collaborates With 22 Artistes for New LP

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran's new LP ‘No.6 Collaborations Project’ features as many as 22 collaborators including the likes of Cardi B, Camila Cabello, Khalid and Eminem. The list also features Travis Scott, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Stormzy and more. The 15-track LP will be out on 12 July.

Sheeran said: "I'm a huge fan of all of the artistes I worked with on the album. Whether I've been following them since the beginning of their careers, or had their albums on repeat, they're artistes that inspire me and all bring something special to each track. Can't wait for you to hear it."

The tracklisting news follows the release of Sheeran's global hits ‘I Don't Care’ with Justin Bieber and ‘Cross Me’ featuring Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock, which have amassed over 750 million global streams to date, and both of which feature on the upcoming release.

Kangana-Rajkummar’s ‘Mental Hai Kya’ In Trouble With the CBFC

Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao’s upcoming film Mental Hai Kya has faced backlash because of its title, which some feel shows mental illness in a poor light. According to reports, this is the reason the film’s trailer, which was scheduled for 19 June, has been postponed.

In April, the Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS) sent a letter to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) demanding the removal of the title of the film which they termed “discriminative, stigmatising, degrading and inhuman in projecting mental disorders and persons who suffer from mental disorders.” They also alleged that the film appears to violate many sections of the Mental Health Care Act, 2017 and filed a PIL at the Gujarat High Court.

Madras HC Issues Notice to CBFC Against ‘Bigg Boss Tamil’ Telecast

The Madras High Court has issued notices to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and others on a plea seeking a directive to set up a panel to censor television programmes and restrain Star Vijay from broadcasting reality show Bigg Boss Tamilwithout a censor certificate.

A division bench of Justices S Manikumar and Subramonium Prasad on 19 June posted the matter for further hearing on July 4 and issued notices to nine respondents, including the Central Board of Film Certification, Bengaluru.

‘Kabir Singh’ First Reactions: Shahid Steals the Show, Say Fans

While there’s still a day to go for Kabir Singh to release in India, the film is out in theatres in the Middle East and reviews from viewers have been trickling in. The initial verdict for the Arjun Reddy remake is positive with many praising Shahid’s performance.

While the trailer for Kabir Singh had some speculating that the film would glorify toxic masculinity, according to critic Anita Iyer, Shahid “delivers a restrained, measured performance” without glorifying the problematic aspects of his character.
