Still Feel the Love: KJo Reminisces 18 Years of ‘K3G’

On 14 December, the iconic Bollywood film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... completed 18 years. In celebration of this, Karan Johar took to social media to reminisce the film. He posted a montage video of scenes from the film with the words, “Blessed to have this story to look back to & still feel the love. It's always about loving your parents...and the solid & spectacular actors and team you get to work with!”

Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh also took to Twitter to write about how K3G was the first film he ever watched with Genelia Dsouza. He tweeted, “Our first date : took @geneliad to watch #KabhiKhushiKabhieGham - #SurajHuaMaddham was our relationship song. @karanjohar”

To this Karan Johar replied, “Awwww! Am so happy to read this”

K3G starred Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Jaya Bachchan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor. The film followed the story of the Raichand family - how conflicts arise and the family drifts away, only to find itself coming together eventually. The family drama was directed by Karan Johar and produced by Yash Chopra. It released on 14 December 2001.
