Ishaan and Ananya Team up for ‘Rapchik’ Picture ‘Khaali Peeli’

Ishaan Khatter has earned a lot of praise for his performances in Dhadak and Beyond The Clouds. Ananya Panday, on the other hand, debuted with Student of The Year 2, and she also has been well-liked by the audience. Now, the duo are gearing up to star in Maqbool Khan’s upcoming film Khaali Peeli. The edgy, romantic drama will be co-produced by Zee Studios and Ali Abbas Zafar, who has helmed films such as Bharat, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.

Taran Adarsh has taken to Instagram to share the news along with a photo of Ishaan and Ananya. “ IT'S OFFICIAL... Ishaan and Ananya Panday... Zee Studios and Ali Abbas Zafar join hands to produce #Khaali Peeli... Directed by Maqbool Khan... Produced by Zee Studios, Ali Abbas Zafar and Himanshu Mehra... Music by Vishal-Shekhar... Starts 11 Sept 2019... 12 June 2020 release.”

Ishaan Khatter also shared a post on social media. As per his post, the film will recount the story of one night.

Khaali Peeli is set to go on floors from 11 September and is slated to release on 12 June next year. “The process of Khaali Peeli' has been organic - Maqbool, Himanshu and I worked on the script for almost a year and when we thought it was completely baked, we took it to this enthusiastic young cast,” Ali Abbas Zafar told IANS.

The makers have roped in Vishal-Shekhar to compose the music of the film
