Sanjay Leela Banshali’s next Inshallah is set to bring Salman Khan and the director together after two decades. Not just this, but the film will also bring back the Bhansali we had seen in films like Khamoshi and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

According to a Pinkvilla report, the film will be entirely shot at real life locations, unlike the last few of his period films which were shot at large scale sets. Inshallah isn’t a war or a period film, but a romantic saga between a 40-plus businessman played by Salman Khan and a young aspiring actor, portrayed by Alia Bhatt. The director’s last three ventures were Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, all of which required lavish sets and a grand scale shoot.

The unusual pairing of Salman and Alia attracted a lot of eyeballs, but now we learn that their is a reason behind the same. The story is of a 40-plus businessman played by Salman Khan who's carefree and not as serious about his life as men his age would be. His father tells him that he will give him all his wealth only if he falls in love and changes his lifestyle. Salman gets Alia, who plays an aspiring actress, to fool his father. They fake a relationship but in the course of doing so, how they actually fall in love with each other and how their world collides is what Inshallah is all about.

This storyline of the film bears an uncanny resemblance to one of Salman’s previous films - Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai and Jaanam Samjha Karo. In the latter, Urmila Matondkar pretends to be Salman’s wife when they meet his grandfather.

Inshallah is set to release on Eid 2020. It was scheduled to clash with Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, but Rohit Shetty decided to prepone his film to avert the clash.
