The first look of upcoming Maddock Films production starring Rajkummar Rao in the lead is out. The makers released a motion poster which begins with Rajkummar, dressed like a middle class Indian in a brown pant-suit. The poster is fun and quirky and definitely piques curiosity. Rajkummar falls into a jar that says ‘Made in China.’ After that, he escapes the jar and falls into a bowl. Which is when we get a glimpse of the other actors in the film, namely, Mouni, Boman Irani, Paresh Rawal and Gajraj Rao. The film will release on Diwali 2019.

The caption is full of puns and Indian references, and it reads: “Iss Diwali, #IndiaKaJugaad hoga Soup-er Hit! 🥣 😉
#MadeInChina Trailer out in one week!”

Take a look:

Made in China is directed by Mikhil Musale and presented by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films. It will mark the Bollywood debut of Gujarati director Mikhil Musale, whose 2016 thriller-drama Wrong Side Raju bagged the National Award for Best Feature Film in Gujarati.

Rajkummar Rao was last seen in Judgementall Hai Kya opposite Kangana Ranaut. The film released on 26 July. Rajkummar is also working on another upcoming release titled Rooh-Afza, which also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma. It is directed by Hardik Mehta and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. It is scheduled to release on 20 March 2020.
