1. NCW Issues Legal Notice to Vivek Oberoi Over Aishwarya Meme
Vivek Oberoi on Monday, 20 May, got criticized for sharing a meme that compared stages of election polls to ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai and her relationships. The actor shared a viral image on twitter that labeled photos of Aishwarya with Salman Khan, Vivek and husband Abhishek Bachchan as ‘opinion poll’, ‘exit poll’ and ‘result’ respectively. Many Twitter users found Vivek’s post unsavoury.
While Maharashtra State Commission for Women was mulling action against Vivek for the objectionable tweet, the National Commission for Women has issued a legal notice to the actor demanding explanation for his tweet.

2. Aa Rahe Hai Dobara: New Modi Biopic Poster Released
The makers of PM Narendra Modi, a biopic on India’s incumbent prime minister, have released a new poster for the the film. This comes a day after the exit polls, which were revealed on 19 May and point towards a second term for Modi.
The text on the poster reads: “Aa rahe hai dobara. Ab koi rok nahi sakta. (He will return. No one can stop him now.)”

3. Saif Turns Naga Sadhu in First Look of ‘Laal Kaptaan’
Director Aanand L Rai has announced his next production, an “epic action drama” titled Laal Kaptaan – which, till now, was known as Hunter. While many details of the film are still under wraps, it will feature Saif Ali Khan who will play a naga sadhu.
The makers have also released the first poster from Laal Kaptaan that reveals part of Saif’s look. He can be seen sporting dreadlocks with his face smeared in ash.

Priyanka Chopra recently turned heads at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival with her gorgeous outfit. Now, there is something already lined up for the actor. As the Global Ambassador of Unicef, she has gone to Ethiopia to be a part of a program aimed at empowering girls and boys. On Monday, Netflix India’s Instagram page hopped onto the Snapchat baby-filter bandwagon and posted a collage featuring baby versions of Kukoo (Kubbra Sait), Anjali Mathur (Radhika Apte), Katekar (Jitendra Joshi) and Bunty (Jatin Sarna). The caption, as usual, was very cryptic.
