1. Here’s What Deepika Thought of Ranveer-Sara’s ‘Simmba’ Trailer

The trailer of Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming film Simmba will be released today. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film stars the newly wedded Ranveer in the role of Sangram Bhalerao, a flamboyant cop.

In what promises to be a signature Rohit Shetty masala flick, Simmba takes off from Ajay Devgn’s Singham (Ajay also has a cameo in the film) to tell the story of a rogue cop who’s in the trade for the money till he undergoes a change of heart after violence touches someone he loves. The result? An action and emotion-packed drama, with of course Ranveer visibly enjoying himself on screen.

At the trailer launch, Ranveer revealed what his new bride Deepika thought of the film. "Rohit sir had shown her a few rushes. She doesn't overreact on anything in life. So when the screen was off, she looked at me and said, 'Hot lag raha hai'," he said.

Sunny Leone is probably winning Mom of the Year right now! Getting ready for the December celebrations, she took to Instagram to share her wishes for the Jewish festival of Hanukkah. The actress posted a picture with her husband Daniel Weber and three kids Nisha Kaur Weber, Asher Singh Weber and Noah Singh Weber. The family looked super cute as they decided to twin in matching jump suits and cheerful smiles to boot.

3. Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas Marry in Traditional Hindu Ceremony

Actor and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra married American singer Nick Jonas in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Jodhpur, after three days of wedding celebrations which included a colourful mehendi ceremony, a friendly cricket match and a power-packed 'desi' musical evening.

Priyanka looked “breathtaking in her traditional red Indian wedding outfit”, a source told E! News about the Hindu ceremony on Sunday.

"Nick did a beautiful job following the customs of a Hindu ceremony. It was lovely seeing how they honoured both of their heritages," the insider added.

4. PETA Accuses NickYanka of ‘Animal Cruelty’ at Wedding

After a section of social media users cracked down on the use of firecrackers at the wedding celebrations of Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas in Jodhpur, animal rights organisation PETA has raised a concern about the use of a horse and elephant at their nuptials.

"Dear Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. Elephants for weddings live in chains and horses are controlled with whips, spiked bits. People are rejecting elephant rides and having horse-free weddings. Congrats, but we regret it was not a happy day for animals," PETA India posted on Twitter on Monday, a day after the two celebrities got married in a traditional Hindu ceremony.

5. Book, Docu-Drama on Dharmendra's Life in Works

A book and a docu-drama will encapsulate the journey of his father, legendary actor Dharmendra from his childhood to him becoming a successful hero to his life now, says his actor son Sunny Deol.

"A docu-drama and a book on papa's life is being worked on. He remembers the smallest details of his films, of the people he met during the course of his life and the life he lived in Punjab before he came to Mumbai to become a movie star.

"A team is talking to him and others connected with him to document his journey," Sunny said in a statement.

A team that includes writers, camera crew and other technicians has been finalised and has started the work on the docu-drama that will encapsulate Dharmendra's life over the last eight decades, reports IANS.
