Despite being called out for its misogynistic and patriarchal content, Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani-starrer Kabir Singh has been a roaring success at the box office. The film has earned Rs 246.28 crores at the box office in three weeks since its release, making it the highest earning Hindi film of 2019 so far. With this, Kabir Singh topples Vicky Kaushal’s Uri - The Surgical Strike, which released in January and made a lifetime collection of Rs 245.36 crores at the box office.

3. Akshay Among the World’s Highest Paid Celebs According to Forbes

Akshay Kumar is the only Indian to feature on this year’s edition of the annual Forbes Celebrity 100 list. He at the 33rd spot on the list of highest-paid celebrities in the world, which also includes Beyonce, Kylie Jenner and Lionel Messi with Taylor Swift at no 1. This puts him ahead of other famous personalities such as Tiger Woods, Rihanna and Lady Gaga.

According to the publication, the actor earned $65 million (Rs 444 crore) over the last year. He reportedly commands between $5 million (Rs 34 crore) and $ 10 million (Rs 68 crore) per film and also has endorsement deals with about 20 brands, including Tata and Harpic.

4. SRK Shares Video of Aryan Voicing Simba in ‘The Lion King’ Hindi

Shah Rukh Khan fans are eagerly waiting for the Hindi version of The Lion King. While SRK is the voice of Mufasa in the film, his son Aryan Khan is lending his voice to Simba. Shah Rukh took to Instagram to share a clip wherein we can hear Aryan’s voice for the first time.
