Bollywood celebrities like Kangana Ranaut, Twinkle Khanna have always had a strong opinion on politics. Now, Ranvir Shorey is the latest to join the bandwagon. He has asked Rahul Gandhi, leader of Indian National Congress, and his family to quit politics so that New India can be built.

The comment was triggered by a remark made by Rahul Gandhi. He shared photos from the Army Dog Unit where the dogs were receiving training alongside the Army personnel. Gandhi captioned the two photos as 'New India'. Ranvir Shorey replied to the same on his Twitter page by writing 'Hate much?'

Actor Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja are vacationing in Tokyo, Japan, and they are having a blast. Sonam has been sharing some adorable photos on Instagram from the holiday. However, the photo that caught our attention came with a beautiful post. Sonam is dressed in a white shirt and black trousers, while Anand chose an all-black ensemble. Sonam captioned the photo, “I ask myself every day... How did I get so lucky to marry my best friend in this world? Anand Ahuja and I didn’t get a honeymoon so this was honeymoon/anniversary/birthday trip all rolled into one. And let me tell you it was worth the wait. I had the best time of my life. Thank you, my love.”

3. ‘Kabir Singh’ BO: Shahid’s Film Makes Around Rs 43 Cr in Two Days

Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh released on 21 June. Kabir Singhis a remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy.

Kabir Singh seems to be unstoppable at the box office. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film made Rs 22.71 crore on Saturday despite India’s match against Afghanistan. The film has already collected Rs 42.92 crore over two days.

4. I Was the First Choice for Mr India’s Mogambo: Anupam Kher

Anupam Kher said that he, not Amrish Puri, was the first choice to play the role of the hugely popular villain Mogambo in Shekhar Kapur’s 1987 directorial Mr India. Remembering Amrish Puri on his 87th birth anniversary on Saturday, Kher said that he was a remarkable actor. “Amrish Puriji was a really good friend of mine. It feels sad to talk about your friends who are no more”, the actor said in a statement.

Speaking about being offered Mogambo’s role, Anupam Kher said, “In Mr. India, Mogambo’s role was offered to me before Amrish Puri. However, after one or two months, the filmmakers replaced me”.

5. Here’s How ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ Ruined Anurag Kashyap’s Life

One of our favourite films, Gangs of Wasseypur, completed seven years on 22 June. From Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Piyush Mishra to Richa Chadha, we saw some stellar performances from all the actors. The gang war drama was based in Wasseypur in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, however, took to Twitter to say that his life was “ruined” on that day. “7 years back is exactly when my life got ruined. Since then all everyone wants me to do is the same thing over and over again. Whereas I have only been unsuccessfully been trying to get away from that expectation . Anyways hope that “साढ़े साती” is over by the end of 2019”, he wrote.
