Putting up with assault and vandalism on the film sets in Jaipur was not enough. Now the team of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati has started a hashtag campaign to make themselves heard to radicals. They have taken to Twitter to start the #NoSceneBetweenRaniPadmavatiAndAlauddinKhilji campaign to get the message across to Karni Sena.
The Padmavati team put out several tweets to reinforce the fact that contrary to the Sena’s allegations, the film has no dream sequence or song between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji, and Rajput sentiments wouldn’t be hurt in any way.
They also asked all the director’s and actors’ fans to spread the word and support the campaign.
