We’re about to see Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor sipping coffee on Karan Johar’s couch, and no prizes for guessing why are coming together. To promote their next film Rangoon of course.
Looks like Koffee With Karan is turning into more of a film promotion platform, rather then being the informal, quirky chat show that it promises to be on every occasion. But we’re not complaining, we love the banter either way. But we do miss the clever pairings like Deepika and Sonam (Ranbir Kapoor’s ex girlfriends), Kareena and Shahid (when they were dating) and the mad Ranveer Singh with Ranbir Kapoor (both have been linked with Deepika Padukone).
The trio apparently shot the episode earlier this month and we wonder what gossip will emerge from their dynamic, something we know rather little about. We hear that Shahid pulls a Arjun Kapoor and joins Saif and Kangana later in the show. He’s been on the couch this season already, but it’ll be interesting to see him with Saif, thanks to the Kareena factor.
But what we’re really looking forward to is more of Kangana spilling the beans on ‘you know who’.
