Saif Ali Khan, who will play the titular role in the Indian remake of Chef, is all set to tantalize our senses on 14 July 2017. The remake of the 2014 Hollywood flick is directed by Raja Krishna Menon, who also directed Airlift.
Jon Favreau, the man who has written, produced, directed and starred as the lead in the film is also excited to see how the film translates into an Indian setting where the food is spicy, flavourful and diverse.
In the film, Carl Casper (Favreau) quits his job at a top restaurant in Los Angeles to start a food-truck business with help from his friends and family. It’s a feel-good story of self discovery and his for love for food. It’ll be exciting to watch Saif essay this role.
