Kareena Kapoor Khan is setting the right tone for being a working pregnant woman in the film industry. Every time the actor is asked about working ‘despite’ being pregnant, she turns around to say why not?

And what is wrong with it? It’s also past time we stopped asking whether it’s a boy or a girl from an expectant mother. Because that is exactly what Kareena was asked at a Global Citizens event. And the classy lady shut down any sexist questions being thrown her way.

She replied by saying that though it would not make any difference, she would love to have a girl. She also addressed the fact that as a nation it is important for us to stop asking women about working after marriage or post pregnancy.

We love how she’s making being preggers no big deal at all!

Rumour has it that Padmavati is going to have solo posters for all three actors in the film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film has been in the news for all the wrong reasons before the project has even gone on the floors. The director first had to deal with the casting of Deepika Padukone’s husband, which after a round a rejections was handed to Shahid Kapoor. And now, it seems Ranveer Singh is not happy with the fact that he will now have to share space with Shahid in the posters of the film.

Shahid it seems only went ahead to play Raja Rawal Ratan Singh if his character got a meatier role in the film. The actor is reported to get Rs 9-10 crore for his role in Bhansali’s next. Well, let’s hope this is the last snag they hit before the film hits the floors!

The director of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Neeraj Pandey made some surprising admissions about the subject of his film. Apparently, he is not a die-hard Dhoni fan.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Neeraj said that because he’s not a fan of the cricketer, he could he make his biopic in an objective manner.

I am not a fan of Dhoni. I like AB De Villers and Sachin Tendulkar. But I am not a fan of these players as well. Dhoni also knows that I am not his fan. To put things in perspective, had I been a fan of Dhoni, I wouldn’t have been able to direct the movie in an unbiased fashion. Because I am not a fan, I could remain objective.
Neeraj Pandey, Director

Pandey also revealed why he chose Sushant Singh Rajput to play the part.

Sushant was always my first choice. He comes from the same place as that of Dhoni. So he understands the dialect well. He is a keen observer of the game of cricket and above all, he is a brilliant actor.

Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is already receiving a lot of love from fans after the trailer hit 8 million views in a single day. The director, always known to bare his emotions to audiences, has revealed that the film is an ode to himself because ADHM is about love that is not reciprocated. KJo also added that everyone feels these emotions, but not many may have the gumption to admit or talk about it.

The film is an ode to myself without being self-indulgent. It is about the angst of falling in love without reciprocation. I am the brand ambassador of that emotion.
Karan Johar, Director of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

On a lighter note, he also added that every tear that audiences shed when we watch the film is a dollar in his account. “You weep and I laugh all the way to the bank.”
