1. We Should Take Sports Seriously: Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan, at discussion panel was all praises for Indian athletes at the Rio Olympics, and said the country needs to change its outlook towards sports if it wants more victories on the global platform.
The actor feels that players give it their best, their efforts must be lauded and we must take sports seriously to do that.
I don’t blame the athletes at all. They are giving their all. If we want to see Olympic medals and world-class athletes, then we have to change the way each one of us thinks about sports. In schools, sports is not a part of the curriculum. My parents never asked how I did in PT. They asked me how I did in my subject. So, as a child you are telling me that this (sports) is not important. All that I learnt in school, history, geography, algebra nothing has come of use in my life. But what I learnt in sports has been useful.Aamir Khan, Actor
Aamir also added that sports teaches one a lot.
Sports teaches you hard work, team spirit builds your concentration, you learn how to take defeat. Whatever I am today, sports has had a huge contribution. 2. PeeCee Clears The Air About Moving To LA
Speculations have been abuzz about Priyanka Chopra moving to LA for five years. A report in DNA seemed to suggest that because the actor has bought herself a house in the US, she would be moving there. But PeeCee took to Twitter to brush away the rumours.
The report had suggested that Priyanka had bought an apartment in LA to save time flying back and forth from Mumbai.
If all goes well for PC, she will be staying back in LA for the next five years, but it all depends on Quantico 2 and how well it’s received. She has also been getting offers for Bollywood movies, but none have been exciting enough for her to take up. She’s bought an apartment in LA, so she doesn’t have any staying problems too. This will also give Priyanka an opportunity to explore further work in Hollywood as it will save her time flying back-and-forth. 3. Farhan Has Dil Chahta Hai Sequel On His Mind
When Dil Chahta Hai, one of Bollywood’s most iconic ‘buddy’ films completed 15 years of its theatrical release, Farhan Akhtar was asked about the possibility of a sequel. Curiously, the actor-producer-director did NOT say a conclusive ‘no’. And now, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Farhan was asked about his mysterious tweet. Here’s what he said:
I thought, “Let me add something to go along with my Don 3 and Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara 2 (queries).” Now, I will just keep throwing out (stories about my) sequels (laughs). It (a sequel to DCH) is something that I would like to do. I actually mentioned this earlier this year too. It is too early to say if anything is happening or not, only time will tell. I have a lot on my mind about the sequel, but I don’t know what to say about when it is going to happen.Farhan Akhtar, Actor-Director
We do hope we see a sequel actually work out!

4. Release Date Of SRK- Aanand L Rai Is Out
Shah Rukh Khan’s next film with director Aanand L Rai has finally got a release date - sadly, it’s a long way off. The title is yet to be announced in this film, which will see SRK playing a role of a dwarf. The Twitter handle of King Khan’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment tweeted, “Excited to announce our film with @aanandlrai & @iamsrk in association with @cypplOfficial. Releasing Dec 21, 2018. Title to be revealed soon!”
SRK responded and added a little tid-bit about the title, “This one is most special to all of us. And the title is too sweet. Wait for it.”
Looks like the waiting is indeed going to be a long one.
5. Akshay Kumar’s Having A Jolly Good Time
Akshay Kumar will be seen taking over Arshad Warsi’s role as a lawyer in Jolly Tyagi, the sequel to Jolly LLB which released in 2013. Joining Akshay will be Huma Qureshi. The lead pair has begun filming in the city of Nawabs and kebabs - Lucknow.
Akshay took to Twitter to share a photo of their day in the city. They are set to move their schedule from Lucknow to Varanasi and then Kashmir.
