Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday, 13 May, stopped her convoy while driving from the airport, to greet a few supporters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Madhya Pradesh's Indore.

Gandhi's convoy was driving into Indore, when a group of people standing by the road shouted "Modi, Modi."

She stopped the convoy, went towards the crowd cheering for Modi and shook their hands, saying, "Aap apni jagah aur mai apni jagah (You are where you are and I am where I am). All the best."

Gandhi's unexpected act surprised the BJP supporters, who in turn wished her “all the best”, to which she turned around and flashed a smile.

The Congress leader then carried on with her roadshow in Indore, accompanied by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.

Gandhi was off to an electrifying start for her campaign in Madhya Pradesh on Monday, where she was seen climbing a wooden barricade to greet supporters after an election rally in Ratlam. Hugging her supporters, Gandhi was seen clicking selfies with a few of them as well.
