UPA Chairperson and elected MP from Rae Bareli Sonia Gandhi, wrote to the people of her constituency. In her letter, Gandhi also thanked the workers of Congress, Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party and Swabhiman Dal for their contribution in her win.

Arunachal CM Submits Resignation to Governor

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu and his Council of Ministers on Sunday, 26 May, submitted their resignation to Governor Brig (retd) BD Mishra and requested him to dissolve the sixth Legislative Assembly of the state, officials said.

The governor accepted the resignation and requested Khandu and the Council of Ministers to continue till a new government is sworn in, an official release said, as per PTI.

BJP, Cong Hope to Consolidate Position in T'Gana; TRS 'Ready' for Challenge

The impressive gains made by the BJP and the Congress in the Lok Sabha polls in Telangana have reinvigorated the parties after their dismal showing in last year's state assembly polls.

The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party swept the December 2018 assembly polls by winning 88 of 119 seats. Many exit polls had predicted that it would also do well in the Lok Sabha polls and could win 13-16 seats.
