On the eve of the Lok Sabha polls in the national capital, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Congress chief Sheila Dikshit exchanged bitter-sweet conversation on Twitter on Saturday in which Dikshit ended up inviting Kerjiwal to her house for a ‘meal’.
The Former Chief Minister of Delhi, Dikshit was questioning Kejriwal over allegedly spreading false information regarding her health.
Here's what she said:
"Hey brother, @ArvindKejirwal, why are you spreading rumours regarding my health? If you have no other work then come home for a meal. You can see my health then, eat and learn to contest the elections without spreading such rumours."
Even though Kejriwal sounded confused about the allegations, while replying to her remarks, he sent his good wishes for her health and long life, and genially answered to the invitation to her house.
He replied:
"When did I say anything to you regarding your health? Never. My family has taught me to respect the elderly. May God give you good health and a long life. When you had gone abroad for your treatment, I had come to your house to ask about your health. Tell me when to come to your house for a meal?"
Dikshit had posted the tweet after learning that volunteers of Delhi's ruling AAP were spreading rumours in North Delhi that she is unable to actively participate in the campaigning because of her health.
Dikshit, a former three-time Delhi chief minister, is contesting the polls from North East Delhi seat.
