The Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance is up against the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance. The Samajwadi Party-Bahujan Samaj Party (SP-BSP) alliance is expected to play a key role in government formation, along with a host of regional parties including YSRCP, BJP, TRS, and DMK, among others.
The coalition or party that wins more than 271 seats will form the 17th Lok Sabha.
