After showcasing the concept car at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, Maruti Suzuki launched the production-spec Ignis in India on Friday at Rs 4.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Ignis will take on the likes of the Mahindra KUV 100, Hyundai Grand i10 and its own cousin, the Swift.

With the Ignis, Maruti Suzuki is offering features like LED projector headlights with DRLs, dual-tone exterior paint shades and the ‘Smart Play’ touchscreen infotainment system and navigation. Ignis is also compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink.

The kitty also includes a dual-tone dashboard, push-button starter and automatic climate control, while safety tech like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat mounts come as standard.
