Dear India,

What’s up with you? I know we haven’t had a lot of fun for a while now. Could it be because you’ve been bad last year?

You turned your back to atithis and send quite a few of them to Pakistan, while you failed to exercise your power to stop an Indian. A man, who stole our money and fled to United Kingdom just so that he could continue to be the king of good times.

You bullied, made rich and famous Bollywoodwallas cry and beg for their films to be released. You removed beef from our menus. You put a price on our patriotism. And you forcefully managed our finances.

But then, you’ve been good too. You gave it back to our neighbours when they crossed the line. Your children made you proud at the Rio Olympics and Paralympic.

So, India has been both good and bad, but what about you?

Are you a good Indian or a bad Indian? What do you think we need to do to qualify to be a good Indian?

On the 68th Republic Day, here’s asking you, mitron, whether you’ve been good or bad.

Don’t be shy, just spill the beans. All you got to do is pen down your emotions and we’ll make sure India hears you out. Just like, our last year’s #LetterToIndia campaign. You, the people, had made the campaign such a success that we decided to revive it this year in the renewed context of Good Indian Bad Indian.

Send a postcard from your heart and tell her, who we truly are. Only then can we say, Mera desh badal raha hai, aage badh raha hai…

Digitally Yours,

The Quint
