The music of the much-awaited Baahubali 2 was released on Sunday evening at a grand pre-release event in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
The film’s team including Prabhas, Anushka, Tamannaah, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Ramya Krishnan and director SS Rajamouli were present at the event. The presenter of the film’s Hindi version, Karan Johar, tweeted a group selfie from the big night.
The music for the sequel is by MM Keeravani, the man who also scored the music for Baahubali: The Beginning.
As per the Baahubali 2 jukebox released on YouTube, the film has 5 tracks, namely:
- Saahore Baahubali
- Hamsa Naava
- Kanna Nidurinchara
- Dandaalayaa
- Oka Praanam
Saahore Baahubali is the background score on more motion posters that have been released of the film. Sung by Daler Mehendi, Mounima and Keeravani, it’s a rousing track written by K Shivashakthi Datta and Dr K. Ramakrishna.
The second track, Hamsa Naava is a romantic duet picturized on Baahubali senior and Devasena (Prabhas and Anushka Shetty). The song is written by Chaithanya Prasad and the vocals are by Sony and Deepu.
The other three songs of the film are written by composer Keeravani himself, while his son Kala Bhairavi has song two of them - Dandaalayaa and Oka Praanam.
