Zee Zindagi May Stop Pakistani Shows; Breaks Indian Hearts

After the Uri attack Pakistani artists have been asked to leave India by MNS and others.

In what’s being seen as a significant stand in the world of entertainment and politics involving India and Pakistan, Mr Subhash Chandra Goel, Chairman of Essel Group and Zee Media and Rajya Sabha MP has tweeted that he is considering to pull the plug on Pakistani shows on their popular channel Zindagi. Chandra has also added his weight to the demand that Pakistani artistes leave India.

He attributed his demand to the Pakistani PM’s stance at UN.

Zee’s Zindagi is a premium entertainment channel in Hindi launched in 2014, which carries syndicated content from India, Pakistan and Turkey. With this tweet Chandra has added muscle to the MNS demand that Pakistani artistes like actor Fawad Khan leave the country. Read the full story here.
