Woman Surfs at Base of an Erupting Volcano in Hawaii

Alison Teal called it a breathtaking and humbling experience to surf within feet of the lava.

Alison Teal, a professional adventurer has done something no one thought was possible – surfing at the base of an erupting volcano.

As the Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii erupted, Teal can be seen riding her pink surfboard.

She said it was her life-long dream and it was a humbling and breathtaking experience.
