The self-appointed “opinion-shaper” and “social commentator” posted a tweet on Monday saying that the goal of the Indian athletes competing at the world’s largest sporting event is to take selfies and come home empty handed.

Athletes, who have spent unimaginable hours bearing the pain that it takes to reach at a level that allows them to represent their nation internationally, wasted no time in showing her her place.
