Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria called former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh ‘Sa**’ during a meeting for BJP workers.

While drawing comparisons between PM Modi and Manmohan Singh, Gulab Chand said, “when PM Manmohan Singh went to America, no one came to receive that Sa**, but Obama himself came to receive PM Modi.”

However, he later apologised on Twitter saying that the statement was unintentional and he regrets it if anyone was offended. Other party ministers also reacted to the statement.

Sharad Yadav said that this is not a big deal and usage of such words are common during speeches. Congress leader Tom Vadakkan said that the statement was not only insulting but factually wrong and this shows lack of knowledge, understanding and being a civil citizen. JDU member KC Tyagi said that this statement showed Sangh;’s ideologies and not those of the society.
