In a dramatic midnight crackdown on Tuesday, 15 FTII students were rounded up by the Pune police. This shows that the FTII protest is spiralling out of control. Now 30 students have been charged.
The police action came after FTII director Prashant Pathrabe filed a case against the students.
Meanwhile, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal jumped into the fray, offering space in Delhi for students for classes. In a series of tweets, he even promised to provide room in the capital for FTII.
Back in Pune, the police have said there will be more arrests.
