A week after journalist Jagendra Singh was allegedly burnt alive, a similar incident of brutality against a journalist has been reported from UP.
A TV journalist identified as Haider Khan – who had been reporting on a land usurpation case – was hit with a revolver on his head. He was then tied to a motorcycle and dragged behind it for about 100 metres.
