Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat met with district officials on Sunday to get a hold of the situation in the mountain state after a cloudburst stirred havoc on Friday.

Rawat said that the situation is under control and rescue and relief operations are on. He also added that additional NDRF teams have also arrived to speed up the operations.

At least 39 people are feared dead across the state as many rivers are still flowing above their danger mark.
